Wildflowers

All our wildflowers are of wild British origin and have been supplied by:

Emorsgate Seeds, The Eden Project’s National Wildflower Centre and The Forest of Flowers.

After successful fundraising during the winter of 2022/2023, 32 kg of mixed wildflower seeds were purchased and sown in April 2023.  We used 60 kg of bran flakes for bulking out the seeds and for easy spreading. Approximately 180 volunteers, plus KS2 children from Forest of Galtres Primary School, completed this task over six days.
