Woodland
A selection of trees, native to northern England, have been planted according to different soil types.

Woodland Trust donated 750 trees, wooden stakes and tree guards to Shipton Wildflower Woods. Other trees were donated by The Yorkshire Arboretum and by prior arrangement, a number of individuals.

We are very pleased to have received six Hybrid Elms from The Yorkshire Arboretum. Labelled as Ulmus minor, they are more mature than our other trees and have been selected by Kew Royal Botanic Gardens to resist Dutch Elm Disease.
